La
Paz is a traditional Mexican city with approximately 175,000 inhabitants,
living and working there. Tourism is not as developed as in Los
Cabos and the city has kept its Mexican charm, there are many
beautiful places to discover though. You will enjoy beautiful
sunsets while sitting on a bench at the Malecon. Both Mexican
and international tourists enjoy the atmosphere of La Paz and
the mix of local business, shopping centers and colonial buildings
spread a relaxed atmosphere. North of the city you will find the
nicest beaches such as: Playa Palmira, Playa el Coromuel, Playa
el Caimancito, Playa del Tesoro, Playa Pichilingue, Playa Balandra,
Playa el Tecolote and Playa el Coyote. Loreto and Mulege have
exceptional diving spots.

Los
Cabos is the name of the southern cape of Baja California, close
to it are two quite different towns which are the centers of this
area: San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas at the southern
tip. Between the two towns at the sea you find mainly elegant
beach resorts.
San José del Cabo is a historic and traditional town
of Mexico - Cabo San Lucas, located in the southern cape, is the
modern town with elegant shops, restaurants and nightclubs (Hard
Rock Café, Planet Hollywood, etc.). Both towns have hotels
of all categories, which are usually more expensive than in other
parts of Mexico.
Los Cabos is well known for the rock formation, called El Arco,
where the Pacific meets the warm water of the Sea of Cortes.
