Here are some comments about our group tour of 43 dentists to Mexico in November and December 2012: We finaly arrived home. We were stuck in Amsterdam for one day because of flight cancellation due to weather conditions. Your tour guides (both) were very nice and knowleadgable. The bus transportation we had in Mexico City and later between Merida and Cancun was very comfortable. The hotels in Merida (El Conquistador), Chichen Itza (Villas Arqueologicas) and the Playacar Palace in Playa del Carmen were really nice. The sites we visited (Teotihuacan, Xochimilco, Uxmal, Chichen Itza and Tulum) were very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of your country. Thank you! Die Organisation hat hervorragend geklappt, alle Fahrer und Führer waren pünktlich zur Stelle, die Fahrzeuge alle neuwertig. Auch mit den Hotels waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Eurostars Zona Rosa in Mexiko City ist eine gute Wahl, auch von der Lage her super. Die Rundreise war sehr abwechslungsreich, Landschaft, Kolonialstädte und Ausgrabungen. Organisation und Durchführung waren sehr gut. Der Reiseleiter Roberto hat sehr gut Englisch gesprochen. Das Hotel The Reef Playacar in Playa del Carmen hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass wir sehr gerne nochmal nach Mexiko kommen möchten, vor allem um etwas länger in den schönen Kolonialstädten bleiben zu können. He really made it the best tour I have ever had. You must give him more money to keep him with you :-) I found the hotel in Oaxaca to be very noisy in the street behind the hotel. Chiapas was great but the best was Palenque. The hotel was fairly new and I really enjoyed the massage there. The only hotel I thought was very over rated was the one you booked us into on Isla Mujeres. It was very basic and had no restaurant but we made the most of it. It was not always easy to “move” this lot incl 7 children but with the understanding of a good driver and a nice guide all went well. Towards the end we had to give the children more time and therefore had to cut some maya ruins, but we didn’t miss much. For us, Uxmal was the peak. The hotel was extremely nice and the sightseeings very intresting. We were surprised that The Reef had such good food. Prior to the excursion we had spent a week at a much more expensive hotel in Puerto Aventuras but the food at The Reef was definetly appreciated more. Tambien el no haberme escuchado cuando te dije de bajar la categoria del hotel en Guatemala City y optar por un hotel tan comodo fue para el grupo la coronacion de un paseo muy intenso (veniamos de dos semanas densas en Cuba y en condiciones no precisamente confortables). Nachdem wir ihm kurz unsere Vorstellung des Reiseablaufs dargelegt hatten, nämlich dem Filmen und Fotografieren einen hohen Stellenwert einzuräumen, ging er nicht nur sofort darauf ein, sondern unterstützte uns noch durch Fachkommentare aus dem Off und Livekommentare vor laufender Kamera. Das Ganze lief so professionell, dass man nur über Herrn Ebert begeistert sein kann. Hinzu kam, dass er durch seine ungeheuere Kenntnis des Landes und der Kultur selbst versteckte Schätze offenbarte, die teilweise nicht einmal im Reiseplan vermerkt waren. Selbst abends stand er uns des öfteren zur Verfügung, sodass wir - leider der spanischen Sprache weitestgehend unkundig - kulinarische und künstlerische Spezialitäten erleben konnten, die wir sonst nicht gesehen hätten. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, alles war so vorbereitet und durchgeführt wie wir es besprochen hatten. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Reise. Auch haben Sie uns einen sehr kompetenten und sehr netten Reiseführer ausgesucht, der uns Mexiko und die mexikanische Geschichte ganz hervorragend erklärt hat. Sehr nett fanden wir auch, dass Sie sich mehrmals während der Reise erkundigt haben, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Sehr geehrte Frau Mainusch, Die Reise nach Mexiko ist zu Ende. Wir sind wieder bei 5°C in Frankfurt zurück. Vielen Dank für die Ausarbeitung und Organisation. Insgesammt war das Paket sehr, sehr gut zusammengestellt. Wir haben die Fahrt genossen und Dinge gesehen, die wir uns nicht vorstellen konnten. Der Ablauf war auch so wie wir uns das gedacht hatten. Die Pausen am Anfang und besonders am Ende waren sehr gut zur Eingewöhnung bzw. zur Rekapitulation des Erlebten. Die ausgesuchten Hotels entsprachen grundsätzlich dem Erwarteten. Sowohl Eurostars, als auch Reef sind nach europäischen Gesichtspunkten drei Sterne Hotels. Die Verpflegung ist gut und reichhaltig. Die Betten sind hervorragend! Nochmals Danke wie schon gesagt insgesammt sind wir sehr zufrieden. Es war so abenteuerlich, wie wir uns das gewünscht hatten. Es war für Jeden was dabei: Kultur in den alten Sädten, Natur in der Schlucht und im "Dschungel" von Palenque. Ausruhen auf der Busfahrt und in der Karibik, Hektik in den Straßen von Mexiko City. Hallo Jessica, Katharina hat mich gebeten, dir ein kurzes Feedback zu geben. Mittlerweile sind wir leider wieder zurück in Österreich. Mexiko ist ein wunderbares und faszinierendes Land und wir haben so viel gesehen und erlebt. Der Ausflug nach Tequila war sehr interessant, die Abholung und Transfer haben super funktioniert und Gabriel hat uns sowohl auf der Hacienda als auch unterwegs viel erzählt und Hintergrundinformation gegeben. Hi Frank, Just wanted to send you a letter to thank you for the excellent service you provided to us both prior to and during our recent vacation to Mexico. Our "great escape from Yelapa" could not have been done without you. We were absolutely amazed that you were able to make all the arrangements in just two hours and during the middle of the day! When we returned to PV Omar from Pro-Pacifico was waiting for us at the dock with the car and when we arrived at Thrifty they were ready with a brand new Jeep Wrangler 4x4! Ute was also extremely helpful over the cell phone trying to make everything right for our travel change. The rest of our vacation was totally awesome and so relaxing! San Pancho has left an indelible impression on our lives and we will no doubt be making a trip there again soon. We met some great people, saw amazing sites, and ate great food. Bitte entschuldigen Sie die Verspätung meiner Kommentare, aber ich war sehr beschäftigt seit meiner Rückkehr. Die Reise war global fantastisch. Die Reiseleitung und der Fahrer waren spitze. Es gab aber auch kleine Überraschungen. Bei Reisen wie mit unserer Privat-Gruppe aus dem Ausland (Anm.: 8 Personen aus der Schweiz), wäre es besser, wenn der Reiseleiter im gleichen Hotel übernachten würde wie die Gruppe. Sollte es etwas dringliches geben, Durchfall, Fieber oder sonst etwas, kann dieser schnell helfen. In Cancún sollte man Xel Ha und Tulum teilen, da der Eintritt in Xel Ha seht teurer ist, sollte man am Morgen früh ankommen und die inbegriffene Verpflegung ausnützen. Frühstück und Mitagessen sind im Eintritt inbegriffen und es gibt ein Buffet für beide Mahlzeiten, die erste Klasse sind. Es gibt auch so viele Möglichkeiten in diesem Park zum Tauchen, Schwimmen, Springen etc., die man in einem Tag praktisch nicht ausnützen kann. Das Hotel Avalon Grand in Cancún war sehr gut. Bei unserer Mexikoreise hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Wir haben sehr viel Spass gehabt, erlebt und gesehen sowie viele Leute kennen gelernt. Sehr cool waren die Kleinen Reisetransporter wo meistens noch 2 andere Familien die Tour mitgemacht haben... so haben wir Leute aus Spanien, Venezuela, Kanada, Brasilien, USA usw. kennen gelernt. Des weiteren moechte ich mich ganz herzlich fuer diese cool organisierte Reise bedanken. Ihr seid sehr empfehlenswert. Ich werd hier mal ein bisschen Werbung machen.
