3.3 MEXICO LINDO (17 Days / 16 Nights)

Day 1 Mexico City
Your trip with us begins in the airport where you will be met by one of our friendly and professional guides holding a sign with your name. You will then be taken to the Zona Rosa to your hotel Century to rest and relax before your adventure begins.

Day 2 Mexico City - Teotihuacan - Mexico City
After you enjoy buffet breakfast you will picked up in the lobby for a tour of Mexico City. Your tour includes a panoramic tour of the Zocalo and historic Center of the city, a visit to the National Palace where you can see some of Diego Riveras most famous murals and the beautiful Metropolitan Cathedral. You will also visit the plaza of three cultures and the Basilica of Guadalupe before travelling just outside the city to visit the breathtaking pyramides of Teotihuacan. After touring the ruins of this magical city you will return to your hotel.

Day 3 Mexico City - Oaxaca
In the morning you will be taken to the bus station for your trip to Oaxaca. This is quite a long trip, about 10 hours, but the time will pass by quickly as you enjoy the scenery. When you arrive in Oaxaca our local guide will welcome you and bring you to your hotel Hostal de la Noria in the heart of the city.

Day 4 Oaxaca - Mitla - Monte Alban - Tule - Oaxaca
Your tour today includes a visit to the ruins of Mitla and Monte Alban as well as a visit to Tule where you will see the worlds largest tree. After our guide brings you back to the hotel.

Day 5 Oaxaca - Pochutla - Puerto Angel (Beach)
After breakfast you´ll travel by minibus to Pochutla. This is a 6 hour tour through the spectacular mountains of Oaxaca. These roads are quite winding so if you would like to fully enjoy the view you may want to bring something for motion sickness. Then you will go ahead to Puerto Angel (unfortunately we can reservate you this bus, because its a minibus and we can´t buy the tickets for it) to the lovely Hotel Buena Vista.

Day 6 Puerto Angel Free.
Have a look around, go snorkeling, kayaking, or have a look at the colorful local markets.

Day 7 Puerto Angel - Pochutla - Tuxtla
Today you are also free to do as much or as much or as little as you like. Enjoy the water, go horesback riding on the beach or simply relax in the sun. Then you will go by minibus to Pochutla and you will take the overnight trip to Tuxtla in a 1st class bus (this bus we will reservate for you!!!!)

Day 8 Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Cañon del Sumidero - San Cristóbal de las Casas
After your 11 hour trip you will arrive in Tuxtla. Go by taxi to the Hotel Camino Real - enjoy the booked breakfast and wait for your guide there. The guide will pick you up at arround 10:00 at the Hotel Camino Real and then will drive to Rio Grijalva and Cañon del Sumidero - home of a great variety of flora and fauna (crocodiles, monkeys, birds). Afterwards, we will visit the colonial city of San Cristóbal de las Casas which was founded in 1524 by Diego de Mazariegos. Then, we will bring you to your hotel Casa Vieja and you can spend the rest of the day on your own. accomodation in San Cristobal de la Casa in the hotel Casa Vieja.

Day 9 San Cristobal de las Casas - Indian towns - Citytour
After breakfast we will drive to San Juan Chamula where you will learn something about the old religion of the Tzotzil. Then, we drive to Zinacatan where you will visit the church and the house of a family where you will try a delicious liquor while you watch the labour on a loom. After having returned to San Cristóbal de las Casas you will do a citytour.

Day 10 San Cristobal de las Casas - Agua Azul - Misol Ha - Palenque
Early in the morning we drive to Ocosingo where we will enjoy our breakfast. Afterwards, we head to Agua Azul where you can swim and enjoy the cystal blue, warm water. Then we will come to he Misol-Ha waterfalls which are surrounded by the tropical jungle. The last highlight of this day will be the visit of the archaeological site of Palenque and then we return to the Chan Kah Hotel.

Day 11 Palenque - Merida
Today you will be taking the bus from Palenque to Merida; another long trip but with breathtaking scenery. When you arrive you will be taken to the lovely hotel Caribe to relax before you enjoy some free time in this colonial city.

Day 12 Merida - Uxmal - Merida
This morning you´ll take a panoramic tour of Merida and get to know a bit better the city famous for it´s strong Mayan heritage, stunning hammocks and laid back atmosphere. Afterwards you will visit the ruins of Uxmal where you can enjoy a light and sound show and have some free time to explore this archeological wonder before being taken back to your hotel in Merida.

Day 13 Merida - Chichen Itza - Cancun
Today you´ll be picked up and taken by your guide to Chichen Itza, the most famous and best restored Mayan site . After having ample time to explore this awe-inspiring site you`ll continue on to Cancun to an all incl. Hotel

Day 14 Cancun- Tulum - Xel-Ha - Cancun
Take advantage of your morning to visit Tulum. What makes Tulum truely special is it´s setting on a cliff overlooking the white sand and blue sea of the carribean. As the tempurature starts to rise we´ll take you to the ecological waterpark Xel-Ha, where you can snorkel, swim with dolphins or enjoy a variety of other water activites. In the afternoon you´ll return to your hotel.

Day 15 Cancun
Today you have a free day to relax on the beach.

Day 16 Cancun
Another free day to spent the time at the beautiful beach

Day 17 Cancun
Sad but true, all good things must come to an end. Today you´ll be picked up by one of our guides for your trip to the international airport in Cancun for your flight home (flight not included). End of services.
